b. Only use the power tool with the battery unit intended
for this purpose. The use of any other battery unit can
lead to injuries and fire.
c. Keep the battery unit away from paper clips, coins,
keys, nails, screws or other metal objects when not in
use. Short circuits at the terminals can lead to burns or
fire.
d. Avoid any contact with leaking liquid from the battery
unit. If contact occurs, immediately rinse the affected
area with water and seek medical assistance if
necessary. Leaking liquid from the battery unit can
cause irritation and burns.
e. Do not use damaged or modified battery packs or tools.
Damaged or modified battery packs can exhibit
unpredictable behavior that can lead to fire, explosion
or injury.
f. Do not expose battery packs or tools to direct heat or
excessive temperatures. Temperatures above 130 °C
can lead to an explosion.
g. Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the
battery pack or tool outside the temperature range
specified in the instructions. Improper charging or
charging at temperatures outside the specified range
may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
16. Service
a. Have the power tool serviced by qualified specialists
and only use original parts. This will ensure that the
safety of the power tool is maintained.
b. Never service damaged battery packs yourself. Only
have service work on battery packs carried out by the
manufacturer or authorized service centres.
