6.2.11 Water Tank Emptying / Cleaning / Descaling
CAUTION!
Before emptying the water tank, disconnect the appliance from mains
supply (pull the plug out).
The water tank may be emptied only when the tank is emptied and the
appliance is sufficiently cooled down.
Water tank emptying
1. Unplug the appliance.
2. Remove the drip tray from the
appliance (section 6.2.9).
3. Remove the water tank cover.

4. Place the appliance in a may
making it possible for the water tank
to be directed towards the edge of
the installation area.
5. Hold a collection tank (B) with the
volume of 3 litres underneath the
water tank with the drain screw (C).
