When performing works connected with cleaning and maintenance, observe the
following regulations:
– use protective gloves;
– never wash the appliance nor its components in a dishwasher;
– do not dry the appliance not its removable components in an oven or a
microwave oven;
– never immerse the appliance in water nor clean it under running water;
– for cleaning, use only lukewarm water;
– use only suitable disinfecting agents;
– when the cleaning and maintenance are finished, make sure that all
safety covers or protective elements that have been removed or open
are re-assembled or secured correctly.
Clean and disinfect the appliance and its components in the following order.
6.2.1 Emptying the Tank
1. Before cleaning, empty the tank with the
appliance switched off by operating the
drain tap lever (Fig. 11).
2. Fill the tank with water.
3. Rotate the temperature controller to
50°C.
4. Start the appliance for at least 15–20
minutes, for all the product residues to be
removed from the tank walls.

5. Re-empty the tank by operating the drain tap lever.
