adio will act as a receiver. Press and hold the key, and the screen will display “SEARCH SWEEK..."
(2) If the transmitter continues to transmit and the unit detects a strong and stable signal, the received frequency will be
displayed. If CTCSS or DCS is present, the corresponding value will be shown; if neither is detected, "NONE" will be displayed.
(3) Press the [MENU] key to save the detected frequency and CTCSS or DCS to the channel.
Note: During frequency Search, press the

key on the radio to switch between UHF or VHF bands.
Weather Radio/Scan Weather Channel
(1) Press the [0 ] key for 3 secondsto turn on the NOAA Weather Scan function, icon appears. T he radio w ill go to weather band
Your radio features a NOAA Weather Radio function, allowing you to receive weather reports from designated NOAA stations. It also
includes a NOAA Weather Scan function, enabling you to scan all 10 NOAA Weather Radio channels for updates.

(2) Press and hold the key for 3 seconds to start automatic scanning of all 10 NOAA weather channels and stop on active cha nnels. Press and hold
the key for 3 seconds again to stop the scan.
(3) After stopping NOAA weather scan, it is allowed to manually select the weather channel by press t he
/ key.
(4) Press t he [EXIT] key or [PTT] key to exit the w eather radio broadcast mode .
