4- If using harness levels 2 and 3
thread the shoulder straps above
the body insert into levels 2 or 3.
Strap head insert to level 4
(Fig. 61-1).
5- Rear View levels 1 through 4 :
Always hook and loop the head insert
through harness level 4. Always use
body insert slots for level 1 (Fig. 61-2).
ONLY use this insert with children who
DO NOT require using the shoulder
straps in harness level 4 (Fig. 61-3).
9.8 Head Insert Use
(Not included with all models)
1- Head Insert: ONLY use this insert with
children who weigh between 4-18 lbs.
Use is not mandatory. Hook and loop the
straps through the harness slot above
the shoulder straps (Fig. 62-1).
2- ONLY use this insert with children who
DO NOT require using the shoulder
straps in harness level 4 or harness
level 1 (Fig. 62-2).
3- For shoulder strap instructions, refer to
section 5.8 Adjustment of the Shoulder
