Upper/ Lower/ Chain Looper Threading Port

Set Up-Threading Completed

NOTE: The serger must be locked in threading position when threading the loopers unless oth-

erwise indicated.

1. Open the front cover and cutting blade cover or sewing table (fig. A).

2. Raise the presser foot to remove any/all threads (fig. A).

3. Set the looper threading lever from serging position to threading position (fig. B).

4. Rotate the machine handwheel slowly toward you until the looper tube moves to the connecting

position and locks (fig. B).

1. After finishing threading, ① Raise the looper threading lever to "Sewing". ② Close the side

cover, cutting blade cover or sewing table and front cover accordlingly (fig. A).

2. With the needle thread(s) cut 4 inches (100mm) in length from the needle eye, place the needle

thread(s) on top of the presser foot and to the left. When initially threading the needle(s) for the

chain/cover stitch place the needle thread(s) under the presser foot.
