Safety
This product complies with IEC/EN/UL 62368 - 1 ed. 3,
safety of audio/video and IT equipment for outdoor
use.
The product shall be grounded via an appropriate
grounding cable.
The power supply used with this product shall have
a rated output voltage within voltage range of
8–28 VDC, and power limited to ≤ 1 00 W.
The power supply used with this product shall fulll
one of the following requirements:
• Safety Extra Low V oltage (SEL V) according to
CEC/NEC Class 2 source of supply as dened in the
Canadian Electrical Code, CSA C22.1 and National
Electrical Code, ANSI/NFP A 7 0
• Class 1 electrical energy source (ES1) and
Class 2 power source (PS2) rated output
power limited to ≤1 00 W according to
IEC/EN/UL 62368 - 1
When used with P ower over Ethernet (P oE), the
P ower Sourcing Equipment (PSE) shall comply with
IEEE 80 2.3af/80 2.3at and Limited P ower Source (LPS)
according to annex Q of IEC/EN/UL 62368 - 1.
W e recommend the use of Axis P oE+ midspans or Axis
P oE+ switches.
Photobiological safety
This product fullls the requirements for
photobiological safety according to IEC/EN 6247 1 (risk
group 2).
Disposal and recycling
When this product has reached the end of its
useful life, dispose of it according to local laws and
regulations. For information about your nearest
designated collection point, contact your local
authority responsible for waste disposal. In accordance
with local legislation, penalties may be applicable for
incorrect disposal of this waste.
Europe
This symbol means that the product shall not be
disposed of together with household or commercial
waste. Directive 20 12/19/EU on waste electrical
and electronic equipment (WEEE) is applicable in
the European Union member states. T o prevent
potential harm to human health and the environment,
the product must be disposed of in an approved
and environmentally safe recycling process. For
