Cordierite Deck Installation
Oven Installation
NOTE: New deck must be condioned (pre-dried) prior to rst use.
• Handling the Cordierite Deck: If deck is struck against hard surface before, during, or aer
installaon, it can develop a full or hairline crack which may expand over me and require
you to replace it.
• Condioning the Deck: Pre-dry cordierite deck by carefully following instrucons in the
following secon BEFORE USING YOUR PIZZA OVEN.
NOTE: Failure to follow condioning instrucons will cause deck to crack or warp and will
void warranty.
• Installing the Deck: Open the oven door and place cordierite pizza deck into the boom
with the slots on front of deck facing front of oven. Be sure the deck is rmly set in place.
DO NOT force or wedge it. (Fig. 2)
1. Aer removing the outer shipping carton and packaging material, place the oven on the oor or
other at surface.
2. Open oven and remove any instrucons or packaging material shipped in the unit.
3. With sucient help, li up the front of the oven and aach the two front legs (packed separately
in styrofoam), carefully twisng each one into a corner and hand-ghtening. Li the back of the
oven approximately 5 inches and block into posion using a piece of wood or other solid object.
Then, aach the two back legs and hand ghten.
4. Move the oven to its nal locaon. Adjust the boom poron of the legs to level the unit. (Fig. 1)
