Application Buttons
The application buttons configure the MaxiCOM for the type of operation or activity to be
performed. The table 3-1 gives brief descriptions of the available applications.
Tap on the screen to select an application from the Job Menu.

Button Name Description
Diagnostics
Configures the unit to operate as a diagnostics
tool. See Diagnostics for details.
TMPS
Launches the TPMS service program directly.

Service
Accesses special functions menu. See Service
for details.
OEM
Authorization
Manages the permissions for unlocking the OE
gateway.
Battery Test
Assesses the battery test menu. See Battery
Test for details.
Data Manager
Accesses the organization system for saved data
files. See Data Manager for details.
Settings
Allows you to set the MaxiCOM system settings,
and to view the general information about the
tablet. See Settings for details.
VCI Manager
Establishes and manages Bluetooth connection
to the VCI. See VCI Manager for details.
Update
Checks for the latest update available for the
MaxiCOM system, and performs updating
procedures. See Update for details.
Support
Launches the Support platform which
synchronizes Autel’s on-line service base station
with the MaxiCOM tablet. See Support for
details.
