Operating the outdoor sensor
♦ Open the battery compartmentgon the rear of the appli-
ance by pushing the battery compartment coverhin the
direction of the arrow.
♦ Insert two type AAA batteries into the appliance’s battery
compartment# as shown.
♦ Close the battery compartment g again. The control LED a
lights up briefly, and the display
p shows the current tempera-
ture. Afterwards, the control LED a lights up once every
minute to signal that a radio transmission is in progress.
Operating the temperature station
♦ Open the battery compartment1on the rear of the appli-
ance by removing the battery compartment cover i.
♦ Insert two type AAA batteries into the appliance’s battery
compartment1 as shown.
♦ Close the battery compartment1 again.
As soon as the power supply has been established, all the indicators
on the display 4 light up for a short time and you will hear a
beep. The temperature station will now attempt to connect to the
outdoor sensor. The reception symbol
flashes on the outdoor
temperature panel r. If the connection to the outdoor sensor is
successful, the reception symbol disappears and the outdoor
temperature is displayed.
NOTE
If no outdoor temperature is displayed within around 3minutes,
the temperature station will stop the reception search. The recep-
tion symbol
goes out and is displayed on the outdoor
temperature panel r.
