Device conguration in Windows

After connecting the AMI to a Windows PC for the rst time, it is necessary to check whether the device has been cor-

rectly recognized by the operating system and congured with the appropriate default settings.

Below are conguration examples for the most common operating systems:

Windows 11

Open “Windows Settings” and go to the “System” section.

Navigate to the tab “Sound”.

In the Input section, ensure that “Audiotec Fischer – AMI” is selected as the input device.

Then, open the “Properties” of the Line input and set the input volume to 100 to ensure optimal signal transmission.

Deactivate all “Audio enhancements” as well.

Note: If the device is not displayed correctly, briey disconnect it from the USB port and reconnect it. In some cases, a

computer restart may be required.
