IP Scan Range
In this section of the discovery software enter the Start and End range of the IP address search. Select the drop-down arrow in the “Select NIC”
window. The number listed in this window is the IP address of the computer’s NIC. Select the IP address and it will auto fill the Start and End
IP fields. Note: The NIC auto fill feature only works with computers running the Windows
®
operating system and not work with Apple
®
computers
running MacOS.
• Click on the “Select NIC” drop down arrow
• After the NIC IP address is selected the Start IP & End IP fields will autofill
• Select “Start Scan” and the discovery software will search the LAN for AP-IP products within the IP range listed. Units discovered will be listed
by their IP address, unit name, model name & MAC address
