Installing the VK211
Follow the steps below to safely install the RS-232/Contact to USB Keyboard
Converter.
1. Connect an ATEN or 3rd-party controller to the converter (VK211) using
one of the following methods:
To control using CLI commands, use the supplied 3-pin terminal block
to connect the controller to the RS-232 port of the keyboard converter.
To control through the contact in port, which supports up to 4 preset
controls, use the supplied 5-pin terminal block to connect the contact in
port of the keyboard converter to the appropriate port of the selected
control interface (e.g. relay port), as illustrated below. The diagram on
the next page illustrates how to wire a single channel.
