Laptop USB Console Login
The KH1508Ai / KH1516Ai can be accessed via a laptop USB console
application (AP) program at the local site. This AP is built into the KH1508
Ai
/ KH1516
Ai’s firmware and does not require a download. To access the switch,
do the following:
1. Use the Laptop USB Console cable included in the package to connect
your laptop to the KH1508
Ai / KH1516Ai’s mini USB port, located on the
unit’s front panel (see Single Station Installation, page 16).
2. The KH1508
Ai / KH1516Ai appears as a virtual drive in the laptop’s file
system. There are two AP applications that appear in the folder
(WinClient/JavaClient), double-click either icon to launch the program.
