4.4.1 PCH-FW Conguration
The items in this menu allow you to congure Management Engine
Technology Parameters.
TPM Device Selection
This item allows you to select the TPM device.
[dTPM] Discrete TPM
[PTT] Intel Platform Trust Technology rmware TPM
NOTE:
• When [dTPM] is selected, PTT (rmware TPM) will be disabled,
and the TPM device connected to the SPI TPM connector on the
motherboard will be enabled. If no TPM device is connected, the
TPM feature will be disabled.
• When [PTT] is selected, PTT (rmware TPM) is enabled.
WARNING! When [dTPM] is selected, PTT (rmware TPM) will be
disabled and all data saved on it will be lost.
