2.4 System memory
This motherboard comes with one Double Data Rate 5 (DDR5) Small Outline Dual
Inline Memory Module (SO-DIMM) socket. The gure illustrates the location of the
DDR5 DIMM socket:

IMPORTANT!
• Always install the DIMMs with the same CAS Latency. For an optimum
compatibility, we recommend that you install memory modules of the same
version or data code (D/C) from the same vendor. Check with the vendor to
get the correct memory modules.
• According to Intel
®
CPU spec, DIMM voltage below 1.35V is recommended
to protect the CPU.
