Safety information
Your Industrial Computer / Industrial Computer Barebone is designed
and tested to meet the latest standards of safety for information
technology equipment. However, to ensure your safety, it is important
that you read the following safety instructions.
Setting up your system
• Read and follow all instructions in the documentation before you
operate your system.
• Do not use this product near water or a heated source.
• Set up the system on a stable surface.
• Peripherals with extended temperature tolerance will allow this
product to be used in environments with ambient temperatures
between -20˚C and 40˚C.
• If you use an extension cord, make sure that the total ampere rating
of the devices plugged into the extension cord does not exceed its
ampere rating.
• For your safety, only connect this device to a properly grounded
electrical outlet.
• This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum
distance of 20cm between the radiator and your body.
• Restricted Access Area:
The equipment should only be installed in a Restricted Access Area
where both these conditions apply:
- access can only be gained by skilled or instructed person who
have been instructed about the reasons for the restrictions
applied to the location and about any precautions that shall be
taken; and
- access is through the use of a TOOL or lock and key, or other
means of security, and is controlled by the authority responsible
for the location.
• This device shall not be connected to an Ethernet network with
outside plant routing.
