Chapter 5 Operating the Monitor
5.1 Powering On/Off the Monitor
PressthePowerbuon to turn on the monitor. The power indicator lights up in solid
blue to show that the monitor is ON.
Toturnthemonitoro,pressandholdthePowerbuon about 3 secondsunlthe
LEDlightonthePowerbuonturnsOFF.
The color definition of the power indicator:
LED Indicator Status Description
Solid Blue On Solid blue light indicates the monitor is turned on.
Blinking Blue Standby
Blinking blue light indicates the monitor is in standby
mode (sleep mode).
LED Off Off No light indicates the monitor is turned off.
Standby Mode:
When there is no input signal from the computer for 30 seconds, the monitor enters into
standby mode which reduces the power consumption. The screen goes dark, and the
power indicator flashes in blue. To wake up the monitor from standby mode, move the
mouse or press any key on the keyboard, or single press the power button again
.
