USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Carry out an ”empty” cooking cycle so as to remove any smell and smoke from the protective coat-
ings applied to metal parts:
- switch on the oven by rotating the timer dial (I) to 10 minutes and set the dial (G) on the highest
temperature;
- leave the appliance to operate with the door open in a well-aired environment.
During this operation, it is usual for smoke to come off metal parts and side openings. After this
operation, ventilate the room.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Open the oven door by using the apposite handle (C).
- Prepare food to be cooked and position them on the grill (B) or inside the drip pan (A).
- Place the grill (B) with the previously prepared food into the oven at the required cooking level (E)
(Fig. 2-3). When cooking foods on the grill (B), also insert the drip pan (A) at a lower level (E) than
the grill (B) so as to collect any cooking fat. We recommend pouring two glasses of water in the drip
pan (A) to prevent smoke, unpleasant odours and build up.
- Turn the dial (G) to set the required cooking temperature.
- Close the oven door by using the apposite handle (C).
WARNING: Place food at a minimum distance of 2 cm. from the top heating elements.
- Plug in appliance and select cooking time according to food to be prepared by means of the dial
(I). At this stage, the oven starts cooking and the temperature light (H) switches on; it switches off
when reaching the set temperature or if the dial (I) is manually reset to “0” position.
WARNING: Monitor food while cooking.
- At the end of the cooking time, the oven stops automatically, sending out an alarm.
- After each use, unplug the appliance and open the door. Remove the drip pan (A) or the grill (B)
by using suitable oven gloves to prevent burns.
