5. Start-up
1. The dehydrang inserts must be clean and wiped with a cloth for
the rst use.
2. Place the prepared food on the desired inserts. Then place the
inserts correctly on the dehydrator.
3. Please note that foods with intense avours can transfer these to
other foods. This can have a negave eect on the avour.
4. Connect the mains cable to the appliance and a properly connec-
ted 230V socket.
5. Then press the ‘ON/OFF’ buon on the control panel of the ap-
pliance. The appliance switches on.
6. Select the desired temperature by pressing the ‘Temperature’
buon and using the control dial to select the temperature.
7. Then select the desired me by pressing the ‘Time’ buon and
selecng the desired me using the control dial.
8. Aer a short waing me, the appliance will start the drying
process.
9. As soon as the food has nished drying, the appliance switches
to standby mode. Two beeps will sound. Pull out the mains plug
to switch the appliance o completely.
10. As an alternave to seng the me and temperature manually,
you can start the appliance using one of the preset programmes;
you can nd out more about this in the next chapter.
11. Clean the tray and the liquid collecon chamber aer drying.
