Configuring Alarm Output

After alarm output is triggered by a alarm, the camera can output alarm information to

the third-party device if alarm output is set correctly to Normally Open or Normally

Closed. The alarm output duration is configurable.

6. Click Setup > Events > Common Alarm > Alarm Output tab.

7. Select the alarm and set the alarm name.

8. Set the status to N.O. (default setting) and set the alarm duration.

9. Set actions to be triggered by an input alarm and the plan. For the detailed steps, see

the descriptions of alarm-triggered actions in Error! Reference source not found..

10. Click Save.

CAUTION!

Strictly follow the sequence when powering on the devices to avoid damaging camera

components:

1. Check that the alarm type is set to Normally Open (default setting), and that the

camera and the alarm output device are powered off.

2. After completing the connection, power on the camera first and then power on the

alarm output device.
