The On/Off light indicates when the A4-1B hardware is turned on or or off. The light also blinks while the
compressor boots up or during firmware update.
Rear panel
Power input
Standard IEC socket receives the mains power cable to energize the compressor.
USB connector
USB Type-C port facilitates connection to a computer for software control, automation, and preset
management of the analog compressor.
Sidechain bus
Two TRS connectors (BUS 1, BUS 2) allow an external audio signal to control the compressor's behavior
or enable stereo linking with another unit. When more than one unit is linked via the Bus Select input,
both units compress accordingly with the highest peak signal produced by both sidechains.
Analog inputs
Balanced female XLR and TRS connectors (mirrored) serve as the primary input for the audio signal that
will be processed by the compressor.
