4.3.4. Motor oil
Add oil according to the engine manual. Remember that the oil has been drained for shipping.
Failure to fill the engine crankcase with oil before starting will result in permanent damage and
will void the engine warranty.
5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
5.1. Add oil to the engine
Warning
The engine is shipped without oil. Do not start the engine before adding oil. Consult your engine
manual to find out the proper grade of oil to add.
1. Make sure the cart is on a flat, level surface.
2. Remove the oil fill cap/dipstick to add oil.

3. Using a funnel, add oil to the full mark on the dipstick. (See engine manual for oil
capacity, oil recommendations, and fill cap location.)
Warning
Do not overfill. Check the engine oil level daily and add as necessary.
5.2. Add gasoline to the engine
Important
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive. You can be burned or seriously injured when
handling fuel. Be very careful when handling gasoline.
Fill the fuel tank outdoors, never indoors. Gasoline vapors can ignite if they accumulate inside
an enclosure. An explosion may occur.
1. The engine should be turned off and allowed to cool for at least two minutes before
adding fuel.
2. Remove the fuel filler cap and fill the tank. (See engine manual for fuel capacity, fuel
recommendations, and fuel cap location.)
3. Reinstall the fuel cap and tighten it. Always clean up spilled fuel.
