BASIC CHECKINGS

In order to keep your lens at the highest quality level or to prevent any damage, please check regularly :

- Focus, zoom and iris rings tightening. Hold the ring and make horizontal or vertical movement to see if the ring is correctly

fixed. If you detect mechanical play, check the ring holding screws and secure them with threadlock.

- Focus, zoom and iris mechanical torque. Rotate back and forth the ring by hand. If the torque is uneven, loose or stiff, lubricate

the mechanism.

- Focus, zoom and iris end stop tightening. If the mechanical end stop is not fixed correctly it can induce critical damages when

using motors or excessive torque when rotating the rings. This operation must be done by highly skilled or factory trained

people.

ADVANCED MAINTENANCE

The deep maintenance of Optimo Ultra Compact lens should only be performed by a certified service center or factory trained
