OPERATION
Switch on the appliance
When the appliance is switched o then all the cooking zones are disconnected and the
indicators are o.
Touch the on/o sensor eld to switch on the appliance. „0” will appear on all cooking zone
displays for 10 seconds. Select cooking zone by touching cooking zone selection sensor eld
and then slide your nger across the setting selection sensor eld to set the desired
heat setting (see Selecting the cooking zone heat setting).
If none of the sensors is touched within 10 seconds, the appliance switches
itself o.
If child lock function is activated, the hob cannot be switched on (see "Re-
lease the child lock").
Switch on the cooking zone

After switching on the hob using the on/o sensor eld cooking zones can be operated as
follows:
1. Select the desired cooking zone using the cooking zone selection sensor eld. (Sensor
eld layout reects the layout of individual cooking zones).
2. To select the desired heat setting, slide your nger across the setting selection sensor
.
3. To change the heat setting again as described in point 1, select the desired cooking zone
using the cooking zone selection sensor eld, and then slide your nger across the heat
setting sensor eld
.
If none of the sensor elds is touched within 10 seconds, the cooking zone
switches o.
A cooking zone is active when a dot is displayed by the number "
" on the
cooking zone display. This indicates a cooking zone is ready for the heat set-
ting to be set or changed.
Using double and triple ring cooking zone.
When you connect the hob to power, indicator light above the key sensor will be on. Touch
and hold the sensor eld
until the indicator is o. Now you can use the hob.
No objects should be placed on the sensors (this could cause an error). Touch
sensors should be always kept clean.
Double ring cooking zone can be switched on by activating the central cooking zone using
the selection sensor eld and then touching the
sensor eld.
Operation of the cooking zone extension is indicated by a red LED indicator light above the
cooking zone display.
Triple ring cooking zone can be switched on by activating the front left cooking zone using
the selection sensor eld and then touching the
sensor eld.
Double ring cooking zone activation is indicated by one LED indicator light above the dis-
play, while the triple ring cooking zone by two LED indicator lights.
