Controlling WMX1 MK2 with MIDI
The WMX1 MK2 has a USB-A socket to connect a MIDI device. There are 3 ways to use MIDI with
WMX1 MK2.
1. Map faders to control group dimmers.
2. Map buttons or messages from a playback device to trigger Presets.
3. Sync efects with the BPM using MIDI Clock.
Mapping Dimmers
Dimmers are mapped from the GROUPS screen. Tap the forth encoder to select MIDI, and then either
turn the encoder to select the MIDI channel and message type (Note or CC). Shift + tapping the encoder
will auto-learn the last MIDI message received.
