In the above table, R represents Red, G represents Green, B represents Blue, W represents White, and
D represents Dimmer. The starting address of a xture + the fader position - 1 equals the DMX address.
For example, in the default xture patch setting, the PAN DMX address is 1 for Fixture 1, and the PAN
DMX address is 19 for Fixture 2. You can change the address of xtures and the fader as needed.
Before controlling a xture without RDM function, you must set a DMX address code to the xture.
Then, in the DMX FX512, you need to patch the DMX start address of the xture accordingly.
Note: The default setting assigns the Pan Wheel to Channel 1, and the Tilt Wheel to Channel 2.
For example, if you are patching a moving head, you must assign the pan/tilt channels of the moving
head to the PAN/TILT wheels on the DMX FX512 if you want to change its default setting. If you are
patching an LED xture, you must assign the Red, Green, Blue, White, and Dimmer channels to the
corresponding faders. The DMX FX512 will then be able to run the built-in movements and fade in/out
effects with the patch setting.
