In Case of Difficulty
If you encounter a problem, please review the
items in the following check list. This guide will
help you isolate the problem if the unit is at
fault. Otherwise, make sure the rest of your
system is properly connected or consult your
authorized Alpine dealer.
Symptom/Symptôme/Sintomo Cause and Solution
No power supplied./
Pas d’alimentation./
L’apparecchio non si accende.
Remote control does not work./
La télécommande ne fonctionne pas./
Il telecomando non funziona.
• Battery is worn out.
– Replace battery.
• Incorrect battery insertion.
– Insert battery correctly.
• Remote control does not point remote
control sensor.
– Operate remote control so that it faces
the sensor.
• Remote control sensor or remote control
transmitter window is dirty.
– Clean remote control sensor or transmit-
ter window.
• Main power switch of the monitor is not in
STANDBY.
– Set to STANDBY position.
• Engine not started or key position not in
ACC.
– Start engine or place the key in ACC
position.
• Fuse not connected or burnt out.
– Connect fuse or check cause and replace
fuse.
• Poor connection.
– Confirm connection.
• Car battery is worn out.
– Check battery.
• Remote control does not work.
– Check remote control.
