4.2 Using the Sidebar menu
The Sidebar menu can be accessed on either sides of the interactive display by touching / . Sidebar
menu icons are always visible on the screen regardless of your location in the user interface.
Note:
♦ If the Sidebar menu icons are not visible on the screen, then swipe inwards from the left or right edge of
the screen to display them.
Using the Sidebar menu
App shortcuts
Access any of the following Sidebar menu items based on your needs:
• Touch the app you want to open in the shortcuts menu. To customize app shortcuts, long touch any of the
app icons. Then select up to ve apps at the prompt that you want to see in the shortcuts menu in addition
to the default apps. Touch Apply to save the modications or Cancel to discard the modications.
Note:
♦ The default app shortcuts cannot be removed or replaced.
• Touch Home to access the Home screen from any other screen or menu.
• Touch Back to return to the previous menu or close the app.
• Touch Annotation to enter the writing mode. For more information, refer to “5.5 Annotation” on page 60.
• Touch Smart Sidebar menu to hide or display the Sidebar menu.
