Safety Instructions (IECEx / ATEX)
1. The equipment shall only be used in areas with at least pollution degree 2, as
defined in IEC 60664-1.
2. Transient protection shall be provided that is set at a level not exceeding 140%
of the peak rated voltage at the supply terminals to the equipment.
3. The equipment was evaluated in low mechanical impact conditions. The devices
should be mounted in vertical position and installed in a low risk environment.
4. The enclosure has a non-metallic coating so installation/operation must mini-
mize the risk from electrostatic discharge. Operators should wear electrostatic
wrist or heel straps when they touch equipment.
Safety Instructions (C1D2 Only)
1. This equipment is suitable for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D or
non-hazardous locations only.
2. Ambient temperature range as indicated under “Environment Ratings”.

Field wiring, Earthing, Bonding information
1. The input terminal block (CN25) should be installed to 12-22AWG wires with 8
mm conductor insulation stripped.
2. The COM terminal blocks (CN18, CN19, CN20, CN21) should be installed to 14-
26AWG wire with 10 mm solid conductor insulation stripped.
3. The internal earth connection should be installed to a conductor equal to input
terminal block 12-22AWG.
4. The external bonding conductor should be installed to a conductor with at least
4 mm² cross-sectional area.
5. The field wiring cable should be rated ≥ 90°C.
