3.1 Chassis Grounding
UNO-148 provides good EMI protection and a stable grounding base. There is an
easy-to-connect chassis grounding point.

The earth terminal should use a 16 AWG minimum size green and yellow conductor
connector to connect to the earth.
3.2 Connecting Power
This product is intended to be supplied by an approved power adapter or DC power
source. This adapter is rated at 10 - 36 V
DC
, 7.7-1.31 A and has a maximum tem-
perature of 70°C (158°F). If you need further assistance or information, please con-
tact Advantech.
Follow the below instructions:
1. Insert the positive and negative wires into the V+ and V- contacts on the termi-
nal block connector.
2. Tighten the wire-clamp screws to prevent the DC wires from coming loose.
Note! It is recommended to choose a 150 W adapter when the iDoor expan-
sion module (e.g. PCM-24R2PE) is installed. Recommended PN:
96PSA-A150W24T2-3.
