SOM-DH7000 User Manual 2
1.1 Introduction
The Advantech SOM-DH7000 development board is specifically designed for the
COM-HPC® Server Proprietary Pinout Module (size E), measuring 366 x 330 mm in
size. This carrier board comes equipped with various expansion features, including 4
PCIe x16 slots, 1 PCIe x8 slot, 1 PCIe p10-x4 slot, and 2 PCIe x1 slots (Gen5). Addition-
ally, there's a dedicated PCIe x1 slot reserved for BMC add-in card usage. The SOM-
DH7000 is capable of delivering a maximum power of 225W, making it suitable for
server-grade processors. It is a versatile board that can be used for a wide range of
applications, serving as a reference design board to emulate necessary functions.
Importantly, customers also have the flexibility to seamlessly integrate the SOM-
DH7000 into their own products as an application board.
