2.3 Assembly Drawing
These figures demonstrate the assembly order from the thermal module, the Qseven
module, to the carrier board. The diagrams below show the locations of the main-
board, screws, and accessories. Diagrams marked in gray are not included in the
SOM-DB3520 kits, and are for reference only.

- Insert Qseven CPU module
into SOM-DB3520 Developer
Board
- MXM connector at a 30
degree angle.
CPU Module & Developer Board Assembly Tips:
-Align the U-shaped notch in
Qseven CPU module golden
Įnger with MXM connector on
carrier board.
-Press down when module is
well seated in the MXM
connector.
-Put grease between
heatspreader / semi-sink.

-Put screws into screw
holes.
- While Qseven CPU
module is down, place the
heatsink on the module.
-Tighten 4 screws and
