1.1 Introduction
SOM-DB2510 is a new development carrier board that supports GET SMARC 2.1
pin-out. This board is compatible with corresponding form-factor modules. The differ-
ences between SMARC 2.1 and SMARC 2.0 are detailed below:
2 x additional SERDES ports
2 x additional MIPI CSI connectors
2 x additional GPIO (for a total of 14 x)
SOM-DB2510 is also backwards compatible with SMARC 2.0 related modules.
SOM-DB2510 leverages 314 pin gold finger connectors. It supports several display
(LVDS, eDP, DP++, & HDMI), and USB types (USB 3.0 Type A, &Type C). For audio,
it supports M.2 E-Key connectors, HD audio, and/or I2S interface options. This solu-
tion meets the needs of multiple end customer applications and can emulate the
functions required of a reference design board. In sum, customers can integrate the
SOM-DB2510 directly into their product as an application board.
