1.1 Introduction
As an NVIDIA Elite Partner, Advantech offers MXM GPU cards powered by NVIDIA’s
embedded GPUs, perfect for image processing and Edge AI acceleration in manu-
facturing, medical, and gaming industries. Built on NVIDIA's latest architectures,
Advantech MXM GPUs deliver state-of-the-art technologies giving high-performing
computing and responsive capabilities for systems, as well as latency reduction,
which is ideal for deployment in applications such as auto-optical inspection, driver
assistance, and surgical systems.
The Advantech SKY-MXM-A1000 MXM module is a high-performance MXM graph-
ics module based on the NVIDIA A1000 chip. The module optimizes performance
and stability. Featuring 2048 CUDA cores, and 4GB GDDR6 memory with ECC, it
offers 6.66 TFLOPS of Single-Precision Performance. Additionally, it supports 4 Dis-
playPort outputs; making it suitable for demanding tasks like professional CAD draw-
ing, medical applications, and image processing. Additionally, the module’s small
form factor allows for easy system integration and the lower power requirement
results in efficient cooling. These features make this module an ideal choice for
embedded solutions that require high-end graphics capabilities.
