1.1 Introduction
The POC-621-12 series is a multimedia Intel® Core™ i7, i5, i3, or Celeron™ proces-
sor device designed for mobile computing as a Point-of-Care terminal (POC.) It is a
PC-based system with a 21.5" wide screen TFT LCD display, HDMI, and dual LAN. It
has 1 x COM port, 4 x USB 3.2 Type-A ports, 1 x USB 3.2 Type-C, and a 24-bit ste-
reo audio controller. With an optional 2.5" SSD, the POC-621-12 series is a user-
friendly computer. For system integrators, this highly integrated multimedia system
lets you easily build a Point-of-Care terminal into your applications. The POC-621-12
series makes it an ideal and safe point-of-care solution for patients and hospital prac-
titioners. The POC-621-12 series is specially designed to resist spills and water dam-
age, and ensures dust resistance with its protected LCD and sealed ports. The POC-
621-12 series is a reliable solution for your application's processing requirements.
Intended use - The POC-621-12 series is intended to serve as a Point-of-Care ter-
minal (POC) for integration with hospital systems. The POC-621-12 series is
designed for general-purpose medical computing in a hospital environment, for data
collection, and for displaying information. It should not be used as a life-support sys-
tem.
