Chapter 1 Overview
Counter function:
1. Event Counting:
In event counting mode, the counter counts the number of edges the counter
clock signal generates. It can be configured as rising edge active or falling edge
active, as shown in Figure 1.1 and Figure 1.2, respectively.

Counting may be temporarily paused by the counter gate signal as shown in
Figure 1.3.
