3.1 Introduction
With the AMI BIOS Setup Utility, you can modify BIOS settings and control specific
features of your computer. The Setup Utility uses a number of menus for making
changes and turning specific features on or off. This chapter describes the basic nav-
igation of the MIC-770 V2 setup screens.

The AMI BIOS ROM has a built-in setup program that allows users to modify basic
system configuration. This information is stored in the NVRAM area so that it retains
the setup information when the power is turned off.
