1.1 Introduction/ 产品简介 / 產品簡介
The HPC-6240 is a 2U short-depth high density chassis. It can support 4 x Full-
Height/ Full-Length expansion slots, 4 x Full-Height/ Half-Length expansion slots, 4 x
hot-swappable HDD Bays in short-depth length 20” length 2U chassis.
Featuring the latest in industrial design, the HPC-6240 represents a breakthrough
from the traditional, rigid concept of industrial PCs. HPC-6240 can adapt only with
proprietary server board ASMB-62 series to implem
ent the feature of eight PCIe
expansion slots. Four of them can support Full-Height/Full-Length expansion cards
with PCIe x16 signal; three of them can support Full-Height/ Half-Length expansion
cards with PCIe x8 signal; one of the them can support Full-Height/ Half-Length
expansion card with the PCIe p20-x4 signal coming from the PCH.
These enriched expansion slots can fulfill almost all expansion possi
bilities of 2U
chassis demands in both the IEM and AOI field. For example: four PCIe x16 can be
used for GPU Card/Accelerator cards; four PCIe x8 for Frame Grabber Cards/ NIC
Cards and one PCIe p20-x4 for RAID card/ IO cards etc.
HPC-6240 also supports 4 x hot-swappable HDD Bays and has a powerful 1+1
redundancy 1200W power solution.

中 4 槽全高全长扩展槽支持 PCIeX16 讯号，3 槽全高半长扩展槽位支持 PCIeX8 讯号，1
槽全高半长扩展槽位支持由 PCH 提供的 PCIeX4 讯号。
这些丰富的扩展槽设计可满足绝大多数在 IEM
与 AOI 领域中对于扩充卡片的需求，例
如 : 4 槽 PCIeX16 可搭载 GPU 卡片或加速卡 ; 3 槽 PCIeX8 可支持网卡与影像撷取卡 ;
1 槽 PCIeX4 可搭配 IO 卡或磁盘阵列卡等多种卡片的搭配可能性。
除了上述的扩充性，HPC-6240 也提供了 4 组热插入硬盘抽取盒可简化客户对于硬盘的
维护，同时 HPC-6240 更搭配了 1200 瓦冗余电源可提高整体服务器于应用上的稳定度。
