2.4.5 Powering On
Caution!
Before connecting the FWA-1013 to the power outlet, ensure that the power rating of
the outlet matched that of the FWA-1013’ PSU. Also, verify the primary circuit and all
power distribution in not overloaded. Inrush current and steady state power
specifications for the FWA-1013 can be found at the label under the bottom of the
unit.
Connect the power cord to the Power Adapter (refer to Section 3.4.7 for details) first and then to the
power outlet. There are 2 power input jets located at the same site as the VGA port. Please connect
to DC-IN-1 and make sure the power screw is properly installed.

The unit will automatically power on after power is supplied. The green LED on the front panel
should be lit as the unit is under power.
Please refer to Section 3.2.1 for the location of front and rear panel elements.
Sections 2.4.1 to 2.4.3 provide guidance on OS installation based on specific environmental
constraints. Please select the method that best suits your needs.
