3.1 NFC APP
3.1.1 Introduction
Advantech APP provides some local templates and users can also create their
images by downloading templates on DeviceOn/ePaper. This Advantech NFC APP
includes five sections which contain all major functions in the APP.
Section A. Sign in with Google account or anonymously
Section B. Image preparation with pre-defined templates
Section C. Image management
Section D. User data encoding
Section E. Online templates
3.1.2 Preparation
1. An android phone (version >= 5.0, NFC)
2. app-debug.apk or Google Play Store
3. Advantech EPD-210 cards
4. DeviceOn/ePaper server accessibility through WiFi connection (for online tem-
plates, see below)
3.1.3 Installation
1. Click the app-debug.apk to install it.
2. Search APP in Google Play Store. Keyword: EPD NFC Writer

1. After opening NFC APP, the first step is to sign-in by Google account or anony-
mously.
