1.1 Introduction
The AIR-120 is a compact, fanless edge AI system powered by Intel® Atom™
x7433RE, Processor N97, and Core™ i3-N305 processors. It integrates a Hailo AI
acceleration module, delivering 26 TOPS of AI computing power. Combined with
Hailo’s comprehensive AI software toolkit, it enables efficient AI inference accelera-
tion. Additionally, the AIR-120 supports Advantech Edge AI SDK, making it ideal for
applications such as smart security screening, intelligent parking management, and
smart factories.
Dual Display, Compact Size, and Versatile I/O
Designed for industrial environments, the AIR-120 supports a wide operating tem-
perature range of -20 to 60°C and a 12-24V wide voltage input, meeting IEC 61000-
6-2 / 61000-6-4 heavy industrial standards. Despite its compact size, the AIR-120
offers comprehensive I/O options, including dual independent display outputs (HDMI
2.0 and DP 1.4), two COM ports, one GbE port, one 2.5GbE port, and four USB
ports. Additionally, it supports expansion for CAN-FD and DIO. Internal expansion
includes M.2 B Key 2280, E Key 2230, and B Key 3052 (pre-installed with the Hailo
AI module).
Comprehensive AI Software Toolkit for Edge AI Applications
To accelerate AI deployment at the edge, the AIR-120 provides a user-friendly soft-
ware suite, including the Advantech Edge AI SDK, Advantech SUSI API, and
EdgeBMC. It is also compatible with the Advantech DeviceOn platform, offering
benchmarking tools, runtime SDKs, and out-of-band remote management for effi-
cient system monitoring and control. The Hailo AI software suite further supports pre-
trained AI models, model conversion tools, and runtime environments for seamless
deployment. This makes the AIR-120 an excellent choice for industrial automation,
IoT, and intelligent transportation applications.
