3.1 Introduction
With the AMI BIOS Setup Utility, you can modify BIOS settings and control the spe-
cific features of your computer. The Setup Utility uses a number of number of menus
for making changed and turning specific features on or off. This chapter describes
the basic navigation of the AIIS-3400/3410 setup screens.
AMI's BIOS ROM has a built-in Setup program that allows users to modify the basic
system configuration. This information is stored in NVRAM so Setup information is
retained even when the power is turned off.
