1.1 Product Overview
This chapter provides an overview of the Advantech AIIS Vision System module
AIIS-1882, covering the product lineup, features, drivers, utilities, and accessories.
The AIIS-1882 is a 4-channel lighting control module with a 12-channel isolated DI
and a 16-channel isolated DO expansion. Each lighting control channel includes one
trigger input and a PWM output for lighting. The programmable delay time, PWM
high/low time, and output lighting duration make it suitable for machine vision appli-
cations. All I/O signals are protected by a 2,500 V

isolation circuit.

1.2 Driver Installation
The driver package can be found on the Advantech Support Portal ( https://
www.advantech.com/support ). Search for AIIS-1882 on the portal, and the corre-
sponding driver/SDK package will be available. After the download session finishes,
you'll receive the XNavi installer.
Execute the installer, and it will guide you through the process. You can choose the
device and software components you'd like to install in the system (Figure 1.1). After
making your selection, click "Start" to begin the installation.
