Vizi Q Wash7 DMX Control
Universal DMX Control: This function allows you to use a universal DMX-512 controller
to control head movement, colors, masterdimmer, shutter (strobe), and various other
features. A DMX controller allows you to create unique programs tailored to your
individualneeds.
1. The Vizi Q Wash7 has 3 DMX channel modes; 17 Channel mode,19 Channel mode,
and 23 Channel mode. See pages 13-21 fordetailed description of the DMX traits.
2. To control your xture in DMX mode, follow the set-up procedureson pages 9-11 as
well as the set-up specications that areincluded with your DMX controller.
3. Use the controller’s faders to control the various DMX xture traits.
4. This will allow you to create your own programs.
5. Follow the directions on page 24 to select your DMX Channelmode, and to set the
DMX address.
6. For longer cable runs (more than a 100 feet) use a terminator onthe last xture.
7. For help operating in DMX mode consult the manual includedwith your DMX controller.
