MEGA GO FLOOD BAR Battery Status & Charging
Battery Status:
This function is used to check the life status of the battery.
Plug the fixture in and press the MODE button until “bXXX” is
displayed. “XXX” represents an number between “000” and
“100”. The number that is displayed is the remaining battery
life. If “b---” is displayed, it means the battery is dead or you are
running the unit on AC power. Please do not let the battery
fully die, this severly shortens the life of the battery.
Example: If “b050” is displayed, the battery is at half life. If
“b025” is displayed, the battery is at 25% life.
NOTE: When the battery is charging or if the battery life is
below 30% the digital display will flicker.
Battery Recharge: To recharge the battery, plug the supplied AC
cord into the AC input on the side of the unit and plug the other
end into a matching power supply. It takes about 6.5 hours to
reach full charge. The display will STOP ashing when the unit
reaches 100% charge.
Note: When unplugging the unit from charging and then
applying power via battery, there will be a minimal charge
drop.
For a faster recharge, put the Load Switch in the “O” position
and the Battery Switch in the “ON” position.
MEGA GO FLOOD BAR Battery Replacement
If you choose to replace the battery yourself, follow these instruc-
tions. Be very carefully when replacing the battery. Pay attention
when replacing the battery. Make sure the unit is unplugged, and the
battery and load switches are in the “o” position.
Start with the LED display facing you.
Remove the end bracket located to the
right of the LED display. Unscrew the
4 phillips screws to remove the end
bracket.
Next, slide out the LED protective screen.
After removing the protective screen.
Gently and carefully slide out the LED
board. DO NOT fully remove the board!
Slide it out enough that the battery is
visiable. See the next picture.
Notice the LED board is not fully
removed, and the battery is visable.
After locating the battery, you need to
remove the battery cover. To do this care-
fully “ip” the unit on its side to access
the cover screws. Remove these phillips
screws.
