5. If you want to weigh something in a container, now
place the container without anything in it onto the
weighing surface. Otherwise, proceed as described in
point 6.
You can also use the protective cover as a
weighing container.
6. Press the Z/T button.
“0” is shown on the display.
7. Put the substance to be weighed in the container or
place it on the weighing surface.
The measured weight is shown on the display.
8. Read off the measured weight and remove the item or
substance from the container or the weighing surface.
Set the scale to zero
If the display shows values even though the weighing
surface is empty (for example, if a TARE value is still
displayed, see next section), you must set the scales to
zero.
− Press the Z/T button 1x.
Using the tare function (TARA)
This function is practical if you would like to add another
substance to the substances already on the scales.
1. Press Z/T in order to set the scales back to “0”.
