CREATING AND EDITING PRESETS
Presets allow you to create connections from any ADDERView Matrix USR to any
available CAM.
To access the Preset conguration page
1 On the console keyboard attached to the USR, access the OSD by pressing
CTRL + ALT + C or tap the icon on the touchscreen. The Preset Selection page
will be displayed:
Note: The number on the left corresponds to the hotkey sequence that will connect to that
channel, eg, press Ctrl-Alt-2 to connect to the preset #2.
2 Click/tap the icon in the top right corner.
3 Choose the Presets option from the list on the left side of the screen. This page will
show the same list of presets, but with options to add ( ) or edit ( ) entries:
To remove a preset
1 Access the Preset conguration page as discussed above.
2 In the Actions column, click the icon for the entry that you wish to remove.
To add a preset
1 Access the Preset conguration page as discussed above.
2 Click the icon on the right of a vacant preset entry to display the conguration page:
3 Enter a name and description for the new preset.
4 You can now choose how to congure your new preset - Auto or Custom:
• Auto - Click the Auto Congure Preset drop down and choose the CAM that you
wish to connect with. All of the supported default connections will be congured (on a
1-to-1 basis) between the USR and chosen CAM. Click the Apply button.
• Custom - Congure individual connections. This is useful when unusual cross
connections are required, such as taking video from one CAM, but audio from another
CAM). Custom also allows you to remove unused port connections, such as redundant
audio connections to avoid seeing red port status icons (see page 21) or unwanted
connection notication messages (see page 26).
1 Click the icon on the right side to add a new connection entry.
2 Check that the correct CAM is shown in the CAM Device column. Click and
change this entry, if required.
3 In the Type column, click the Select option and choose the type of connection:
Video, Audio or USB. For video and USB links, no further action is required because
each dongle has only one video and one USB option.
4 For audio links, click the USR Port drop down and choose the required audio type:
• audio derived from the USB link, or
•

audio derived from the video link.
Once chosen, the CAM Port column will change to match the selected audio type.
5 Click the Apply button.
To edit a preset
1 Access the Preset conguration page as discussed left.
2 In the Actions column, click the icon for the preset entry you wish to edit. An
editable list of connections will be shown, together with their status representations:

3 Make your changes as required and then click the Apply button to save.
To re-order presets
1 Access the Preset conguration page as discussed left.
2 Click and drag a preset to the required position within the list.
