Test and automatic Test Chaser
• to start the Test: click Test
• to start a Test chaser in the dimmer unit: click Automatic
• to stop the Test or Chaser: click Stop
• to stop the Test or Chaser and close the window: click Exit
Shortcut to Change Patch
In the event that the Test points out a DMX addressing error, you have direct access to the DMX
Patch via the Change Patch function.
Dimmer Flash
Dimmer Flash takes control of one dimmer in a unit, and overrides other controls such as DMX,
analogue and local memories. It is very useful to identify a dimmer in a rig without fading out the
whole rig.
The Dimmer Flash dialogue window shows
• in the tab: the name of the dimmer unit example: MemoPack 15 @ 03
• the Flash test level example: 50%
• the physical position in the selected dimmer unit example: 5
• the Dimmer Name example: Cyc3a
• the current DMX address example: 23
• the step (delay) time for the automatic Flash test Chaser example: 10 s
Flash and automatic Flash Chaser
• to start the Flashing test: click Flash
• to start a Flashing chaser in the dimmer unit: click Automatic
• to stop the Flashing test or Chaser: click Stop
• to stop the Flashing test or Chaser and close the window: click Exit
