OPERATION – QUICK SETUP GUIDE
This section provides an overview of how to operate your refrigerated incubator. For more detailed instructions on
adjusting control panel parameters, refer to page 10. Once plugged in, the display will show the internal product
temperature, and the compressor will begin running. The corresponding indicator light on the control panel will also
turn on.
Se
nsors Overview:
The unit uses two sensors:
• P
roduct Sensor (display sensor): Monitors the product temperature.
• Air Sensor (control sensor): Monitors the air temperature for controlling the refrigeration process.
F
or maximum performance, the air sensor is used to quickly respond to changes like product loading and door
openings. You may need to adjust the controller to a lower temperature than the desired product temperature, as
the air temperature needs to be lower to effectively cool the product.
The temperature displayed is the product temperature recorded by the product sensor inside a glycol-filled vial
located in the unit. As the refrigerated incubator cools to the set point, the number on the display will decrease in
temperature. It will take longer for the product vial to reach desired temperature compared to the air inside of
the unit.
P
ower Outage
If power is cut off, wait for at least 5 minutes before plugging the unit in again to avoid damaging the compressor.

ow Temperature Alarm: If the air temperature in the refrigerated incubator falls below the low alarm set point,
an alarm will sound. The front panel will display [LO] flashing alternately with the current temperature.
• High Temperature Alarm: If the air temperature exceeds the high alarm set point, an alarm will sound. The front
panel will display [HI] flashing alternately with the current temperature.
• High Product Temperature Alarm: If the product temperature exceeds the high product alarm set point, the
front panel will display [H2] flashing alternately with the current temperature.
In
vestigate the potential cause immediately if any of the alarms occur. The unit should be monitored to ensure that
it returns to the correct temperature.
